Build a machine to improve the world!\How could kids use recycled materials? What kinds of solutions could they come up with in a game based on a sustainable utopia?

Challenge: Invent or assemble a machine that can make the world a better place! The machine or robot can be anything you like – your imagination is the limit.
Materials: Scrap computers from Uusix and glue guns.

Where: Lobby of Helsinki City Hall\nWhen: 12:30pm-3pm on Helsinki Day

The workshop is part of the HDW Children’s Design Week programme, which is organised by SuoMu – the Finnish Association of Design Learning.

This year, Children’s Design Week is moving to the Annantalo Arts Centre, which will feature the Design Exploration installation and lots of workshops. Children’s Design Week provides children with a creative program and promotes design education and the knowledge of the built environment. The main programme takes place during Helsinki Design Week, 5-15 September 2019
