Helsinki RobobusLine – all aboard the robot bus!

Wednesday 12.6., 09.00-15.00 Arielinkatu, 00540 Helsinki, Suomi Finnish, English Metropolia University of Applied Sciences

We invite everyone interested in autonomous vehicles to enjoy a ride into the future on Helsinki Day!

Helsinki RobobusLine is a robot bus experiment in the Kalasatama district. On Helsinki Day we will be operating due to the timetable three times an hour. The bus has route number 26R. The bus can carry eight passengers at a time. The route departs from the Englantilaisaukio square and lasts around five minutes. There are four stops along the way. A guide will accompany each journey to tell more about the robot bus and make sure everything is working.

Note: the robot bus does not operate during heavy downpours. If there are long lines, please wait patiently and enjoy the communal experience!

Helsinki RobobusLine is coordinated by the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and funded by the Helsinki Innovation Fund and the EU’s H2020 mySMARTLife project.

Helsinki RobobusLine will operate in the Kalasatama district on weekdays until November 2019, weather permitting. The rides are open to all and free of charge. The timetable is found on HSL:s Reittiopas with route number 26R.
